Steve Davis - Division
President, West
Steve Davis holds ultimate responsibility for achieving Riverstone
Residential Group’s operational objectives and delivering optimal
results for assets in the West division. He oversees more than 400
properties comprising more than 80,000 apartment homes in western
states including California, Washington, Oregon, Montana, Nevada,
Arizona, Idaho, Utah, and New Mexico. In his former capacity as
executive vice president for the Oregon and Desert regions, he
oversaw operations for 30,000 apartment homes in 160
communities.
A successful operator of multifamily real estate on the West Coast
since 1997, Steve was a principal of HSC Real Estate, Inc., prior
to joining Riverstone. Before pursuing a career in real estate, he
spent seven years with Princess Cruises. He graduated from the
University of Washington with a bachelor of science degree, and is
a licensed real estate broker in the states of Washington, Oregon,
and Montana.

Stephanie Brock -
Division President, Central
Stephanie Brock oversees the delivery of operational, occupancy,
and revenue objectives for Riverstone Residential Group’s Central
division, which includes over 39,000 apartment homes in 157
communities in Colorado, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan,
Missouri, North Dakota, Oklahoma, and Texas. A multifamily
professional since 1991, she has successfully leased up more than
50 new properties for Riverstone.
Previously, Stephanie held responsibility for re-establishing
market presence for Trammell Crow Residential Services in Houston,
Denver, and Phoenix. She holds a bachelor of arts degree from the
University of Texas at Austin.

Maura Bilafer -
Division President, East
Maura Bilafer maintains oversight of Riverstone Residential Group’s
East division, ensuring that clients’ operational, occupancy, and
operating income goals are met. She oversees a portfolio of almost
35,000 apartment homes in more than 120 communities in the
mid-Atlantic, Northeast, Midwest, Southeast, and Florida
regions.
Active in the multifamily industry since 1988, Maura holds
expertise in lease-up and stabilized communities, financially and
physically stressed assets, and mixed-use communities. She
previously served as vice president at Trammell Crow Residential
Services, senior regional manager at NHP/AIMCO, asset manager at
NHP, and analyst at Boston Financial Group. Maura holds a bachelor
of arts degree from Harvard College.

Steve Winsby, CPM® - Executive Vice President,
California
Steve Winsby oversees Riverstone Residential Group’s extensive
California portfolio, which includes over 17,800 apartment homes in
approximately 90 communities. He has worked in the property
management industry since 1987, and holds expertise in areas
including market-rate luxury and affordable lease-up activities,
stabilized/institutional asset management, redevelopment and
reposition/construction management, commercial and mixed-use
assets, and acquisitions and development from an owner-operator
perspective.
Steve has held executive leadership and senior operations positions
at Trammell Crow Residential Services, Simpson Housing, Holland
Residential, and Pinnacle Residential Properties. In these roles,
he led portfolios of 10,000-20,000 apartment homes on the West
Coast.
Steve sits on the board of directors for several housing-related
nonprofit groups, and maintains active committee and leadership
roles with the Institute of Real Estate Management and multiple
industry-related associations and trade groups. He is a certified
property manager (CPM ®). Steve earned a bachelor of arts degree
from Sacramento State University, with a major in marketing and
minor in finance.

Tom Daniels
- Executive Vice President, Northwest, Inland Northwest, and
Oregon
Tom Daniels oversees Riverstone Residential Group’s assets under
management in Oregon, Washington, Montana and Coeur D’Alene, Idaho,
totaling more than 40,000 apartment homes across over 200
communities. He began his multifamily career in 1992 as a property
manager, and has since accrued expertise in a variety of markets
throughout the West Coast. Prior to joining Riverstone, Tom was
responsible for portfolio operations for both Holland Residential
and Trammell Crow Residential Services in the Pacific
Northwest.
A board member for the Washington Multifamily Housing Association,
Tom was also chairperson of its strategic planning committee. He
graduated from Washington State University with a degree in
business administration and holds a broker’s license in the state
of Washington. Before starting his career in real estate, Tom spent
five years in the United States Air Force.

Lesa LaRocca - Senior
Vice President, Desert
Lesa LaRocca oversees a Riverstone Residential Group portfolio that
includes assets in Arizona, southern Nevada, New Mexico, and
western Texas. A multifamily professional since 1987, Lesa holds
extensive expertise on both the owner- and feemanaged aspects of
the business. Her experience covers a diverse portfolio of assets,
including lease-up communities and repositioned assets. Most
recently, she held the position of regional vice president for
Weidner Investments, where she oversaw a 27-property portfolio
comprised of nearly 9,000 units. Additionally, Lesa previously
served as one of the managing partners for Trillium Residential,
where she directed the overall operations of roughly 8,000 units in
new and acquired properties.
Lesa has served on the board of directors for the Arizona
Multifamily Association since 2005, and served as the chairwoman of
the board for the organization in 2011. She currently sits on the
board’s executive committee. Lesa holds a bachelor of of arts
degree in business communications from Arizona State
University.

Mark McElvain, ARM,
CPM® - Senior Vice President, Central
Mountain
Mark McElvain oversees a Riverstone Residential Group portfolio
consisting of communities in Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, and North
Dakota. Active in the multifamily industry since 1985, has honed
property management and asset management expertise in REIT
environments as well as in private entrepreneurial and fee-managed
businesses. He has overseen the growth and revenue performance of
assets in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Nevada, Texas,
and Washington. Mark previously served in leadership roles for
United Dominion Realty, Western National Group, ConAm, Equity
Residential, and Camden Property Trust.
Mark is active in the Institute of Real Estate Management, and
holds certified property manager (CPM®) and accredited real estate
manager (ARM) designations. He holds a real estate broker’s license
in Arizona, and is a graduate of the University of
Nebraska.

Loyal Proffitt - Executive Vice President,
South Central
Loyal Proffitt oversees the day-to-day property management
operations of almost 25,000 apartments in 93 communities in
Riverstone Residential Group’s South Central region, which includes
Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana.
Prior to joining Riverstone, Loyal was the president of Henry S.
Miller Realty Management, LLC, where he oversaw all commercial and
residential property management functions. Loyal started his career
in 1986 with Trammell Crow Residential Services as a district
manager, and later joined Equity Residential, where he eventually
served as the regional vice president for the Southwest. In
addition, he was one of the founding partners of WaterStone
Residential, a regional apartment management company. Loyal has
experience managing and consulting in markets including Florida,
South Carolina, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas.
Loyal has served as a member of the board of directors for the
Apartment Association of Greater Dallas as well as the San Antonio
Apartment Association. He holds a bachelor of business
administration degree from Abilene Christian University.

Susan Newman - Senior
Vice President, Southeast
Susan Newman oversees a Riverstone Residential Group portfolio
consisting of more than 15,000 apartments in over 50 communities
throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee.
A multifamily professional since 1981, Susan has been involved in
extensive rehabilitation projects, student housing, distressed
property management, and property acquisitions and dispositions. To
date, Susan has supervised the successful lease up of more than 25
communities throughout the Southeast. She holds real estate
broker-in-charge designations in North Carolina, South Carolina,
and Tennessee.
Susan is an active member of the Triangle Apartment Association and
has served on multiple multifamily committees. In addition to her
extensive involvement in local charities, she serves as a board
member of Riverstone Rescue, an internal program designed to assist
associates affected by an unforeseen event or tragedy. Susan earned
a bachelor’s degree in business management from Gardner-Webb
University.

Lydia Bishop - Senior
Vice President, Florida
Lydia Bishop oversees a portfolio of over 11,000 apartment homes in
39 Riverstone Residential Group communities throughout Florida. A
multifamily professional since 1986, she holds expertise in
conventional, affordable, mid-rise, high-rise, and garden-style
communities, both vintage and new. Prior to her career at
Riverstone, Lydia held positions including vice president, regional
manager, project manager, internal auditor, and property manager at
Trammell Crow Residential Services. She also worked as a regional
manager at ZOM and JMG Realty, Inc.
Lydia graduated with honors from the University of Central Florida,
and holds a bachelor of science in business administration with a
major in finance. She is CAPS licensed and is also a licensed real
estate broker in Florida.

Cindy DeFrancesco,
Esquire – Senior Vice President,
Northeast
Cindy DeFrancesco oversees a portfolio of nearly 9,000 apartment
homes in 29 Riverstone Residential Group communities in an
eight-state region ranging from Virginia to Massachusetts. She has
worked in the property management industry since 1989 and holds
expertise in conventional property operations and analytics,
repositioning and rehabilitation projects, construction management,
student housing, and new acquisitions. Prior to joining Riverstone,
Cindy was the executive vice president of Continental Realty
Corporation, where she was responsible for strategic leadership of
portfolio operations in the Baltimore market.
Cindy has served as a past president, board member, and member of
several committees for the Maryland Multi Housing Association. She
graduated from Towson University with a bachelor of arts degree,
and holds a juris doctorate from the University of
Baltimore.
