Christy Freeland - Chief Executive Officer Riverstone Residential
Christy Freeland brings more than 30 years of experience to her role as CEO of Riverstone Residential. She oversees the management of over 185,000 apartments across the country. She is also a principal of CAS Partners.
Christy formed Riverstone Residential in partnership with Terry Danner in January 2006 through a buyout of Trammell Crow Residential Services (TCRS). She was President and Chief Operating Officer for TCRS's operations in the mid-Atlantic, Northeast and South Florida.
Christy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland, and a Master of Arts in Urban Planning from the University of Tulsa.

Terry Danner - Chief Executive Officer Client Services Riverstone Residential
Terry Danner, CEO of Riverstone Residential, leads a dedicated team whose focus is on expanding client services and new business development.
Terry co-established Riverstone Residential with Christy Freeland through their buyout of Trammell Crow Residential Services (TCRS) in 2006. He previously served as President and Chief Operating Officer for TCRS and was responsible for the South Central region.
Terry earned a Bachelor of Science degree, with honors, in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Maura Bilafer - Regional Vice President
Mid-Atlantic/Northeast/Midwest
Maura Bilafer oversees a portfolio of more than 14,000 units located throughout the mid-Atlantic, Northeast and Midwest regions.
She has been active in the multifamily industry since 1988 and has experience in construction, lease-ups, financially and physically stressed assets, and mixed-use properties. Maura has been involved with the leadership team at Riverstone Residential since 1998. She previously worked in both the asset management and property management divisions of AIMCO.

Ty Brewer - Chief Information Officer
Ty Brewer is the CIO for both CAS Partners and Riverstone Residential and is responsible for accounting systems, property business systems, telecommunications, and other computer services.
Ty has 15 years of real estate experience, and is the founder of the Residential IT Executive Forum. Before joining Riverstone Residential, he was with Brandywine Realty Trust and Prentiss Properties Trust, where his responsibilities included management of the business systems, marketing and computer security.
Ty received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas Tech University and holds the CISSP designation.

Stephanie Brock - Divisional President Central
Stephanie Brock oversees a diversified residential portfolio that includes nearly 55,000 units. Located in Colorado, Arizona, Texas and Louisiana, properties include high-rise, mid-rise and garden-style apartments.
Stephanie has more than 20 years of experience in the multifamily industry and has been involved in the successful lease-up of more than 50 new apartment communities. Stephanie has been with Riverstone Residential since its inception. Previously, she had worked with Trammell Crow Residential Services where she was instrumental in reestablishing market presence in Houston, Denver and Phoenix.

Nancy Freeman - Regional Vice President Southeast Division
Nancy Freeman directs the management operations for apartment communities located in Southern Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida and Arkansas.
Nancy has been active in the multifamily industry since 1980, and her tenure with Riverstone Residential began in 2000. She is a past president of both the Charlotte Apartment Association and Chapter 40 of the Institute of Real Estate Management.

Walt Smith - Divisional President, West
Walt Smith oversees Riverstone Residential's operations in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, California and Nevada, and a portfolio of more than 60,000 units.
Walt previously served as President of HSC Real Estate in Seattle, Washington, a third-party residential management firm that became part of the Riverstone Residential organization in April 2008. At HSC, Walt directed a team of more than 1,100 real estate professionals and oversaw the management operations for a portfolio that encompassed more than 34,000 apartment units.

MarySusan Wanich - Divisional President
Internal Resources
MarySusan Wanich directs the national internal resources group, which encompasses education, quality assurance, compliance brokerage, business integrations and program implementations. She is the broker of record in 11 states and the District of Columbia.
MarySusan has been active in the real estate industry since 1982, and began her tenure at Riverstone Residential in 1997. She has experience in conventional, affordable, student and senior housing, condo management, and real estate sales.

Susan Whitney - Regional Vice President, Florida
Susan Whitney oversees a portfolio of 18,000 units throughout Florida, including high-rise, mid-rise and garden communities.
She has been active in the real estate industry since 1982, having worked previously with Trammell Crow Residential Services. Susan is the past president of the Southeast Florida Apartment Association and continues to provide leadership to the board.
